Exercise – Really?

Do you like to exercise? Do you take a walk everyday? Do you stretch everyday? Honestly, I go in and out of being really good about getting somekind of workout in during the week. Throughout my life, I have always belonged to a gym or joined an aerobics class or two. I know it’s important but I’ve heard a phrase that is so true when you are trying to make something a habit. It is, “The hardest day to get back to doing something that you have been doing daily, is the day after you skip a day.” How true that is.

During the Pandemic I surfed a lot of YouTube videos and was trying to find a good workout routine to do at home. I found some that trainers that I could have hung with in my 20’s or maybe my 30’s, but not in my 50’s – and with some heart issues. After persistence, I found this wonderful channel, Fabulous 50s. her name is Schellea Fowler and she dedicates her workouts to mainly women over 50. She was perfect. I have enjoyed all of her exercise routines and they are usually short and she is a wonderful motivator. You don’t have to be a woman to watch and do the exercises. They are all fairly short and beneficial. I encourage you to take a look at this site if you want to add a little more movement into your daily routine.
